ABOUT US

The Lord spoke these two words, “serving together,” to Jim’s heart five years ago when he met Shelle working at Native American Christian Academy in Sun Valley, Arizona. Within ten months of Jim’s first year and Shelle’s fifth year, at NACA, they were married and began a life of service together. They have served in various ministries throughout the United States. They are currently serving in Payson, Arizona with Shelle teaching second grade at Payson Christian School and Jim as an assistant cook at Tonto Rim Christian Camp.
Our Mission
On January 17, 2022, Jim and Shelle received an invitation, by some close friends, to help start a school in Monrovia, Liberia. Missionaries from three different mission organizations
(Samaritan’s Purse, Mission Aviation Fellowship and Sudan Interior Missions) located on the same compound have an urgent need for a school. These missionaries have been working with Dakar Academy for three years trying to get a co-op school established in Monrovia Liberia. Each time they thought it was going to come together, the ability to secure teachers fell through, and the school was not able to begin. The school’s inability to open has caused much strain and unrest for some of the missionary families because without a quality education for their children, some would have to leave the mission field and head home.
Retention of missionaries has a significant impact on each of these mission organization’s ability to serve Liberia. However, through many efforts and much prayer, the door has been opened for the Dakar Academy Co-op school to begin in the fall of 2022. This fall Shelle will be joining, as a Kindergarten and 1st grade teacher, three other teachers to serve the missionary families of Monrovia with Dakar Academy’s Co-op School Program. Jim will be assisting with the start of the school as needs arise. The school’s ability to start in the fall, enables missionary families to continue to serve Liberia with hospital, dental and aviation services, while their children receive a quality education. Jim and Shelle feel compelled by the Lord and are excited to be joining the missionaries and their families living in the community of Monrovia.
